This die-cast aluminium fire-rated LED downlight is a firm favourite amongst our customers, available in a choice of 3 colours - polished chrome, brushed chrome or white. It features a handy twist and lock mechanism that makes changing the bulb a breeze, especially when compared to downlights that have a spring which can be fiddly and annoying. Because this fire-rated downlight is made from die-cast aluminium it will not rust or tarnish, keeping it looking brand new for years to come. Another reason for the popularity of this fitting is the large loop in - loop out terminal which makes the installation of multiple lights much easier because you can wire one downlight into the next in sequence like a daisy chain instead of having to wire each light individually back to one point in the mains. To make life even easier and installation even quicker, it has push-fit connectors so it's truly a screwless installation - no more dropping that all-important screw down onto the floor when you're all the way up at ceiling height - hooray! You won't need a driver or transformer to make these downlights work as they are mains powered. You will, however, need to add a bulb as we don't include one as standard due to everyone having different tastes and needs, one bulb will not suit everybody. You can choose a 5w LED GU10 bulb from the drop-down bulb menu above - there are different colours to choose from and there are also dimmable options since this fire-rated downlight is dimmable when used with a dimmable LED bulb. This fantastic fire-rated downlight comes with a 5-year warranty, if anything goes wrong with it (which it won't) during that time then simply get in touch and we'll sort it out. If you choose to add a bulb to your order then that will come with a 2-year warranty.
