Our white GU10 die-cast downlights are mains powered, so no transformer or LED driver is needed to make it work. Just wire them directly to the mains, and you’re done! Also, it has a diameter of 80mm and requires a 70mm cut-out hole. So, make sure that your electrician is aware of this because if you don’t, instead of having a gorgeous white downlight, they might not sit tightly in the ceiling. These fixed GU10 downlights have a twist and lock design, allowing bulb changes to be simple, quick and easy, and in our opinion, they also look cosmetically better than old-style spring-based downlights.
