Bodegas Vi¤a Nora From Southern Galicia on the banks of Mino river, this Albariño is made by the competent young New Zealand wine maker Alistair Gardner. The winery is situated in an elevated position where beautiful panoramic views of the estuary of the river Mi¤o are possible before its final descent into the Atlantic. The structure of the winery is surrounded by vines on pergolas and the lines of vines smoothly roll downhill towards the river.In the mild climate, the summers are temperate and the autumn brings rain. The best grapes are meticulously selected in a way that ensures the health of the vines and a good yield. The wine is rich and full bodied with structure and minerality not often found in wines from this region. Fragrant, exotically perfumed with typical peach, apricot and spice notes.
