Leone de Castris, IGT Salento, Puglia, Italy 100% Aleatico di Puglia made from semi-dry grapes. The wine spends at least 6 months in stainless steel tanks and then a further minimum of 3 months in bottle before being released. A unique and sweet red sweet wine from Southern Italy which makes a remarkable pairing with chocolate puddings/ desserts. Intense perfume of rose and berries lead to a complex and smooth and naturally sweet mouthful. Wonderful! (2018 - 11% abv)
